About
me.
I'm
a Certified Professional Resume Writer (CPRW) who got into the resume
and career service field on a full-time basis more than 7 years ago. It
came about as the result of the success I had writing resumes for myself
and for friends, colleagues and even my senior managers while in Corporate
America. During my time in the business arena, I held roles that comprised
marketing, sales, contract negotiating and customer service functions.
Each one required astute written and oral communication skills, so it
was natural for me to combine my love of writing, an entrepreneurial bent
and an extroverted nature into the career I have today-being able to help
professionals from all over the world with their careers!
I've
worked with people in trades, new graduates, professionals and executives
in a broad spectrum of industries and career paths. Some of my clients
have worked for iconic companies that include American Express, GlaxoSmithKline,
MassMutual, MetLife, Oracle, Christie's, IBM, Harvard University and many
more.
What
makes me different than other resume writers or career service providers?
What
truly makes me distinctive is that I love working with serious professionals
in a wide variety of fields and at different levels. I don't specialize
in just one area or just one career level, because my writing would most
likely become dull and clichéd. I thrive on having a mix of clients,
ranging from entry level graduates to blue collar workers to executives.
Working with each personI'm able to learn something new and valuable,
which enables me to remain sharp and on top of my game!
People
who are passionate about their work and serious about their careers are
the kind of people that I typically work with. Their passion about their
careers fuels my excitement in the services that I can provide to them.
My
professional affiliations, education and training...
I
am an active member of the Professional Association of Resume Writers
and Career Coaches (PARW/CC), the National Resume Writers Association
(NRWA), and the Career Management Alliance (CMA). Resumes and cover letters
that I've crafted appear in several career / resume books (to date) available
in the market today. In addition to attending career seminars and workshops,
I possess an undergraduate degree from the University of Massachusetts
at Amherst and have completed additional graduate course work at Western
New England College.

The
importance of work - life balance.
Just
as much as I thrive on working with people from diverse backgrounds and
career fields, I'm a big advocate of my life outside of work. When I'm
not in my office or engaged in professional development, I love to exercise,
cook, garden and spend quality time with my two Westies. I also love to
read and do crossword puzzles. The diversity of my free time is vital
to me just as is the diversity of my clients!
